I had jackd running with set_rtlimits to set RT priority. When I started ecasound I was in a hurry and loaded realtime-lsm so I wouldn't have to edit /etc/set_rtlimits.conf and type in a long command line to use set_rtlimits. The kernel didn't like using two methods of setting RT priority at the same time. With just realtime-lsm it works fine.
