Filter to minimize loud crowd noises

Hey all,

I recorded an outdoor concert this weekend.  I have one or two places in 
the recording where I have
someone screaming "Yeah!" or other such loud crowd noises.  First time I 
have tried to edit these
sorts of noises out.  What sort of filters do people apply on such 
things to minimize  these sorts of noises
in recordings?
