RE: What version of ID3 Tags

Thank you for the replies when I find spare time I am just going to make
sure all my music has ID3V2 tags no big deal.

But now I need a ripper that will do ID3V2 tags I just purchased a
couple of cd's today from best buy and looking to try something out that
does ID3V2.

IIRC, there were issues with the M3U files and one or the other of the
players if the MP3s had v1 tags. One solution was switching to v2 tags.
(I spent a couple of months doing exactly that, all because of NetJuke.
I'm happy I did.)
