You're welcome.  It took me a while to figure out the compand
effect - and I'm an audio professional!  I'm glad I could help.

If the result is fine for you without using "normalize-audio",
then don't bother using it.  I don't have the same files you do,
so your experience will be different.  My experience is, when
process lots of files, even after using SoX with compand, the
different files sound like the volume is different.  Wavegain or
normalize-audio is to help solve that problem.

But don't use it if you don't need it.
