I bet you use Nuxeo 5.1 as there's no more default limit with 5.2

Nuxeo 5.1: edit
nuxeo-platform-ui-web*.jar/src/main/resources/OSGI-INF/deployment-fragment.xml

Nuxeo 5.2: you can set a limit in
nuxeo.ear/OSGI-INF/templates/components.xml
