It won't be too bad if the charging is done off-peak, but charging millions of cars on a summer day can choke the electrical grid. Until you can charge a car in 5 minutes and drive for 300 miles on a charge, forget about these cars being attractive to the average American. For me personally the Chevy Volt design is better since it has a backup gasoline recharging system, but the car will only appeal to Ecoweenies right now. > Don't get in to big of a hurry.
