TV output from pandaboard with omap4

Hi, i wanted to know if it is possible for omap4 to generate TV
output, i've tried to modify the venc.c driver by removing
if(cpu_is_omap44xx) return 0, but the boot crashes, so i don't know if
the tv output doesn't work specifically for omap4 or if there is a way
to generate the tv output, i really  need some urgent help, thanks in
advanced.
