Pandaboard Boot failure (mmcblk0p2 not found)

Hi Guys,

My pandaboard just started to act crazy.

I used to run Ubuntu Server 11.10 on it It was just perfect. I had powered off board and left it off for a few weeks.

Last night when trying to get it running again Ubuntu won't boot, saying that couldn't find mmcblk0p2.

I tought hey, easy work, maybe something is wrong lets try another image.

Here is my attempts to get it working.

1. Download Ubuntu and Android 12.05 from Linaro.org
 - Both dies with the same error
2. Download Ubuntu Precise image from cdimage.ubuntu.com
 - Dies with the same error.

Tryed 3 diff SD Cards, all 3 are 8Gigs. 2 Kingston's Class4 and 1 Sandisk Class 8.

On each card I did a dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdX bs=4M and waited until Device is full message.

On every image I'm left o initramfs prompt and a lot of "CRAZY" characters on screens following a message that /dev/mmcblk0p2 was not found.

If I connect the card to my PC I can read both partitions.

Its weird, because the board can read the SDCard at least the first partition.

Any thought's on that? I'm without ideas.

Best Regards,
Mauro Ribeiro
