Re: All is quiet
I'm glad Tim is involved in this as he may be able to decifer the changes.
I got this to work for me since3.04 and migrated thru 3.11 then 4.03.5 and imported it into 4073 We opted to just show a flag if it has the standard sales tax or not in the disc column of the Invoice but on the invoicing screen it shows
We had to set up
1)tax province-Export vs Local
2) Taxcatid to detemine "luxury" or "exempt.
The tax cat ID was the key.
3) Since we use Printcusttrans.portrait
Things to look out for are the double tallying of the tax as initially, the codeguys seemed to forget to turn something off.
I believe this happens when we put included the vat in the extended cost.
I am a fiddler with code so I attached the two files I believe are involved. I suggest just plug them in (after backing up your original)
and look at the results.
The changes will also have to be made for the html and landscape versions of the invoice.
I will ck on my end and see if these were addressed.
Please tell me if this is useful as I remember the logic very simple but the tax cat and provinces had to be sorted.
Cheers
Russell

Hi Karel,
You make a good point. Perhaps Customer type is the correct place to
put this flag?
Thanks
