Hello there!
Are you saying that whenever you try to login something it's accessing your ntfs file systems ? I don't see any connection between KDM and NTFS 3G.
It would be nice to tell us the output of those 2 commands :
cat /etc/release
uname -a
also share with us the version of ntfs-3g and fuse.

My mobo is an Asus with an NVIDIA chipset, CPU is 64bit Sempron 3000,
system has 2Gb ram, (2 sticks operating in dual mode).
The bug is repeatable, unfortunately as it occurs every time. Under
PCLinux I have not been able to come up with a workaround, similarly
with Mint KDE Community Version as both install kdm by default.
I have been able to set up KDE under LinuxMint Cassandra by installing
all of KDE, except kdm and using the GNOME launcher instead.
The result has been that KDE functions perfectly as does ntfs3 with the
happy result that I can read and write to my drives.
This leads me to conclude that there is a specific issue between the two
applications.
I should obviously appreciate any feedback particularly a resolution of
this issue.
