friv update

I just checked in (far too many) changes to friv.  Highlights include:

  * Support for multiple connections
  * Support for "source" type command (that loads a list of commands from a
    file)
  * Fixed command history loading.
  * Exposed some internal variables to the command line via an
    environment-like interface.
