Nautilus please dont try to create Desktop?

Hi!

Im running several Linux-Distributions on my Laptop and i have a extra
Partition for all my files.
I was used to have those files directly on my Desktop and so i created
Desktop as a link to that partition.
However, Nautilus does not approve of this action and on a new login
complains about not being able to create Desktop.

Can i tell nautilus not to create Desktop?
