How could > those specific patches get in the way of configuring a project for mingw?. My patch for `basename' and `dirname' has been in the limbo of the patch tracker for several months now. At the time of its original submission, I didn't have the authority to commit it myself. Now that I do, and in spite of a possible need some adaptation, to suit multibyte character locales, I propose committing these two functions to CVS in their present form, so we have a tested base point against which to raise future patches. (I will add a note in the manpage about the locale restriction). Any objections? Any thoughts on an approriate CVS location for manpage sources -- should we keep them with the code sources, or add a separate manpage module? BTW, there has also been some recent discussion of a possible implementation for `realpath'. I don't think we are ready yet, to consider committing this, but anyone interested may refer to https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1294010&group_id=2435&atid=302435 Regards, Keith. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
