Since Opie is based on QtE and QtE uses it's own framebuffer code to
drive the display you cannot run Opie apps on GPE.

There are quite a few of us who would love to fix this problem. But it
is quite a bit of work. I am still crossing my fingers that Qt 4.0 will
be modular enough to be small enough to fit on a GPE install and then we
can rebase Opie on that. But it is probably no more then wishful
thinking at this point.
