I finally reinstalled scratchbox after upgradingthe OS on my desktop (64-bit Fedora Core 9, now need vdso32=0 kernel parameter as per docs) and had a go at compiling gphoto2. Which workedHowever, my tablet keeps locking up in USB host mode, then (AFAIK) the watchdog reboots it. One time, I was able to take a photo and download it using lunkwill-canon-capture from libgphoto2 examples. But in general, USB access is fatal. I have the camera connected via 2 cables and an F-F adapter. The camera shows as self-powered in "lsusb -v" When I was running Chinook, I was able to quite reliably access a small USB memory stick directly (but now I can't find it). And I have a cheap powered hub that I believe I could use to access larger SD cards via an adapter. Now, under Diablo, I can't see anything on the hub at all. It works OK on my desktop. Having it almost work is quite frustrating. I would like to use the tablet to trigger the camera on a tripod, and downloading images via cable is less messy than transferring a micro SD card.
