Neil, can't you find a USB card for the old thing? I know you can if it has PCI slots. Ethernet cards should be a
dime a dozen, even if ISA slots. I guess you really only need one or the other though. If you have a home
network you can access USB devices plugged into another computer on the network, or transfer files from
that to the older computer's HD.

I have an old 386 which I keep for this. It runs Windows 3.1 and MSDOS and has both sizes of drives. Great when
you have 300 disks to transfer - except no USB or Ethernet ports!
