What is the current state of the com4j project?

Hi,

the last release of com4j was quite some time ago and this mailing list as well as the JIRA bug tracker has
been, well, quiet.

And although we love com4j in general, especially its ease of use, we've run into some issues now.
Especially proper support of [out] and [in, out] parameters seems to be missing in some cases. Since the
COM DLL we're trying to connect to is our own code, we can work around the issues but that made me wondering
about the current state of the com4j project.

Is this project really still in "active" development as the project page state?
Can we expect more releases soon?

Or has the project sadly been lost in the sun oracle thing?

Any information greatly appreciated!
