JIRA startup failed, JIRA has been locked.

Hello,

I'm trying to install JIRA 4.1.2 on Tomcat under Linux (Ubuntu server) with PostgreSQL database backend
and after managing to put the installation into place and configuring the database connection JIRA will
refuse to start with the message "JIRA startup failed, JIRA has been locked." (Copy of the log file is added below).

I know that JIRA did create the database schema.

When I do search for the lock file as advised I can not find any and trying to start the Tomcat again will lead to
the same situation.
