That is very useful. Although I don't immediately have an answer. I am unsure why or whether an applet should have access this this system property and I couldn't find any documentation on it. It seems to have to do with LiveConnect (the java<->javascript bridge). Could you file a bug report at http://icedtea.classpath.org/bugzilla/ with the full log attached? Then we won't forget about the issue. Hopefully Deepak know a bit more about the issues still needing to be resolved with LiveConnect. Thanks, Mark
