Not to the JAVA_HOME issue as far as I know -  the missing quotes  
around GROOVY_HOME in the startGroovy.bat script is such a trivial  
problem to fix that it's hardly worth a patch.

The problem is that nobody has made the trivial fix, so the problem  
has now been known about for at least 4 months, since before the  
original 1.1 beta release... :-(
