[Rails]Masalah plural dan non plural

Saya membuat aplikasi RoR.
Namun saya terbentur oleh aturan plural RoR.
Karena saya menggunakan database applikasi yang sudah di buat sebelumnya.
Saya menjadi kesulitan dalam menggunakan scaffold.
Ada yang bisa membantu?
saya sudah mencoba memasukan code ini dalam ActiveRecord saya:
      set_table_name("KP")
      ActiveRecord::Base.plural_forms = false
Namun setelah di generate dengan scaffold, hanya muncul nama tabel saja, tidak muncul data sama sekali.
Selain itu pada tiap2 fungsi(New, Edit, Delete) juga tidak muncul text box. 
Apakah saya harus menulis code tanpa scaffold?
