I didn't see this posted. Just thought I'd mark the occasion. I heard yesterday that CMU professor of computer science Dr. Randy Pausch died yesterday. As noted earlier he was the creator of Alice, an educational language and learning environment. He gave his inspirational last lecture last fall when he learned he had pancreatic cancer.
