TCL CORE TEAM ANNOUNCES: Daniel Steffen named to Tcl Core Team.

TCL CORE TEAM
Special Resolution 2008-1

WHEREAS, Daniel K. Steffen has been a Tcl maintainer since February of
2003 (and a valued contributor to Tcl development prior to that date);
and further

WHEREAS, Daniel has during that time been among the most active of the
maintainers, tirelessly contributing the unsung work that keeps the
MacOSX version of Tcl going; and further

WHEREAS, the Tcl Core Team recognizes an urgent need for more MacOSX
expertise among its membership; and further

WHEREAS, during his time as a maintainer, Daniel has exhibited
exemplary diligence, technical maturity and judgment; and further

WHEREAS, during his time as a maintainer, Daniel has demonstrated
exemplary teamwork and forged strong relationships with the Tcl Core
Team members; and further

WHEREAS, it is the unanimous sense of the Tcl Core Team that its
deliberations would be enhanced if Daniel were to be included as a member,

NOW THEREFORE, be it

RESOLVED, that Daniel Steffen be invited to join the Tcl Core Team as
a voting member, with all the rights, privileges and duties
appertaining to that position.
