Tcl/Tk 8.4.18 RC 0

...is available for testing at

	ftp://ftp.tcl.tk/pub/tcl/tcl8_4/

This is an earlier release than originally planned, because the fixed
Tk bug, CVE-2008-0553, is classified as a security bug, so it might
earn us some reputation points to get our security-repaired releases
out quickly.

I expect to rename these RC files to the official 8.4.18 releases on
Friday.  Tell me if you discover a reason not to do that.

There will still be (at least) an 8.4.19 release to come, so there's
still a little bit of time to make your final bug fixes to the 8.4 line.
