IIRC, all tests are currently broken; they were copied from the "old" s5 
(s4.5 if you wish) and haven't been retooled yet.

In my branch (interreality.org/home/bzroot/s5.lalo/) I have removed them 
from the default target.  You can still build them with "scons tests", 
but that will, of course, break right now   (For that matter, when 
they do work, "scons tests" should probably *run* the tests, not only 
build them.  I have some scons magic to do that from a different project 
which I can copy.)
