bash flow chart generator

Anyone know of a open source/freeware nix utility that can document/flow
chart pre existing scripts?   It's proving quite tedious to do manually (and
prone to eye/mental fatigue/errors).   Must have been done, somewhere.
Have seen some that run on windows, but that appears to require copying "too
many files" (and unknown ones, likely).
