COMPILE_INITS and misc library files

Hi,

I am trying to compile GS with COMPILE_INITS set to 1 so that it 
includes both pdfwrite.ps and pdfopt.ps.

I have tried several ways of forcing it to compile those two PS files in 
and I seem to have achieved this part of the job.

The problem is now when running pdfopt, it does not find pdfopt.ps as 
this is a file passed on the command line.

Is there a way to precompile pdfopt.ps and pdfwrite.ps so that the 
standalone gs executable can be used to optimize PDFs ?
