Clearly I'm already getting push-back and no support.   So how about 
this then.  If conversation naturally comes here without anyone 
complaining, I'm not going to purposefully squelch it.  We can let it 
evolve as it naturally does. 

BTW: I've documented where notifications will go on EPD releases on the 
EPD Trac wiki.  I will try to keep that sort of info up-to-date on the wiki.
