Category: other Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Problems with characters in replace.py Initial Comment: Hi! When using the replace.py, I came to problem with changing special Slavic charecters (which are presend in Latinnic writing). When I got a shell prompt, and I input the required old and new word, it's OK. The script recognize special characters and it displayes them before I approve the change. But when I check the article after this move, I see that characters are being replaced with others; instead of: - ž I get º - Å¡ I get þ - Ä I get Æ Could the problem be with recognizing such characters (not correct UTF-8 code)?
