Advice for using launchpad cvs mirror on Windows?

I'm in the situation where I have a windows only project using CVS, and I'd
like to be able to take advantage of Launchpad's CVS mirroring service.

My problem is my checkout of the real CVS trunk on windows has windows line
endings, while the CVS imported bzr branch has plain \n line endings.  As a
result, every file in the bzr branch differs compared to the CVS trunk
checkout.

I understand all the reasons why this is happening, and I understand bzr
hopes to land line-ending support at some time in the future, but I'm
wondering if there are any tricks I can use to make this process work for me
in the short term?

Or if not, any update on line-ending support landing in the trunk? :)
