[Trac-dev] wiki_to_text() ?

While trying to solve #925, I felt the need for a wiki_to_text() 
function that would work the same as wiki_to_html(), but return plain 
text. Is there already a way to do this, or should I write a new 
formatter? Or any other ideas?
