are Trac notificatin mails still a problem?

Hi Lumi hackers,

while reviewing tickets, I just stumbled across

I am in doubt these duplicate mails are really a problem -- not every reporter
reads lumiera-work. This behaviour can be configured in the trac.ini, in section
"notifications". You can define there the reporter, the owner and/or the changer
of tickets to receive mails. By default, the reporter is enabled here, which is
sensible IMHO.

Personally, I've configured my mail client with a filter to collect the
lumiera-work items immediately. Thus, I just get the notifications on tickets
created by myself into my Inbox, which looks convenient for me.
How about the other developers? shall we change the behaviour? shall we close
this ticket?
