I can't give you technical information. I can only say those apps 
perform bad with Jack (crackling, lost connections, jackd crashes etc. I 
didn't experience with apps like Ardour or Rosegarden).

And  please listen to my advise and contact the LAD mailinglist and/or 
Jack dev mailinglist. They deal daily with this stuff, and like to help
