A blue screen may mean that ph7113 is not properly handling his work. You may try to remove ph7113, probing saa7113 instead. > Here's my dmesg: > > [17180832.204000] Linux video capture interface: v2.00 > [17180832.228000] bttv: driver version 0.9.16 loaded > [17180832.228000] bttv: using 8 buffers with 2080k (520 pages) each for > capture > [17180832.228000] bttv: Bt8xx card found (0). > [17180832.228000] ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:04:04.0[A] -> GSI 20 (level, > low) -> IRQ 209 > [17180832.228000] bttv0: Bt878 (rev 17) at 0000:04:04.0, irq: 209, > latency: 64, mmio: 0xf80ff000 > [17180832.228000] bttv0: detected: Osprey-540 [card=91], PCI subsystem > ID is 0070:ff04 > [17180832.228000] bttv0: using: Osprey 540 [card=91,autodetected] > [17180832.228000] gpio_apply_bits: start ... > [17180832.228000] bttv0: gpio: en=00000000, out=00000000 in=00fffbff [init] > [17180832.276000] gpio: calling request_firmware() for 'Osprey 5401'. > [17180832.344000] gpio: osprey Firmware-download(base): len=166965 > [17180836.260000] gpio: calling request_firmware() for 'Osprey 5402'. > [17180836.324000] gpio: osprey Firmware-download(DV): len=49742 > [17180837.504000] bttv0: osprey eeprom: card=91 name=Osprey 540 > serial=5234040 > [17180837.504000] bttv0: using tuner=-1 > [17180837.504000] bttv0: i2c: checking for TDA9887 <at> 0x86... not found > [17180837.508000] bttv0: registered device video0 > [17180837.512000] bttv0: registered device vbi0 > [17180863.432000] bt878: AUDIO driver version 0.0.0 loaded > [17180863.432000] bt878: Bt878 AUDIO function found (0). > [17180863.432000] ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:04:04.1[A] -> GSI 20 (level, > low) -> IRQ 209 > [17180863.432000] bt878_probe: card id=[0xff040070], Unknown card. > [17180863.432000] Exiting.. > [17180863.432000] ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:04:04.1 disabled > [17180863.432000] bt878: probe of 0000:04:04.1 failed with error -22 > > Thanks for any suggestions on how to proceed/debug. > > Tristan. > > Mauro Carvalho Chehab wrote: > > Em Sex, 2007-04-27 às 16:52 +0100, Tristan Crichton escreveu: > > > >> Hi Mauro, > >> > >> On my system the ph7113 module is loaded: > >> > >> testing <at> blade2:~$ lsmod | grep 7113 > >> ph7113 4224 1 bttv > >> i2c_core 23424 5 > >> i2c_ec,bttv,ph7113,i2c_algo_bit,tveeprom > >> > >> There's no record of the saa711x module tho, does this tell you > >> anything that I could look into? > >> > > > > This means that you're using the right drivers.
