  Michael,  Thanks for the information.  Now, I remembered
  this little trick.

  My opinion is to keep this functionality for a while
  so that the users who used it before 3.10 do not need
  to change their configuration.

  Regarding removing 'Monitor Presence' from GUI, I think
  we should hide it until Polycom provides reliable presence
  information, e.g. XECS-419.  If no one objects, I will
  open a new issue for 'Hiding Monitoring Presence from
  GUI'.
