Problem signing into api page

I just created an Eventful account today and can sign into the main
site just fine, but when I try to signin at the api site it just loops
me back to the page I was on with no signin. I'd like to get an API
key, but am unable to because of this.

Any ideas? Maybe it takes a while for the api site to sync up with new
accounts on the main site.
