I still rememer clearly how I got burnt with several beta / rc Versions of Plone 2.0 and I guess there are many other people, too. However I tried to migrate a 2.0 Instance at work to some 2.1 rc - I ran into several Problems and it was just before I changed my Employee. So unfortunately I could not finish that work and give more Feedback. I think, that this is a serious issue for Plone. Quality Assurance (in general) is an important issue if we want to go for (CMS) World-Dominance. I just read Limi's statement abut the new Mailinglist and I want to add anoter point here: Someone (maybe paid by the Foundation for this?) has to collect the bug reports from users, go after them and ensure that new releases are as bug-free as possible. And go for other aspects of QA - I guess y'all know them better than meECM Vendors cooperate with special customers to find bugs before launching a new Version. Would it be an option, to work closely with a number of People who are running sophisticated Plone sites and help them test rc Versions?
