Re: integrating plone with other application
If it's hosted on the same domain or a sub domain and the application supports auth tkt authentication, you should be able to share your auth tkt secret and make the cookie valid on *.youdomain.com The configuration for this is somewhere in acl_users--don't remember off the top of my head though. Other than that, there is no easy way to do what you're asking unless the mail app and plone both have support for other types of authentication you could integrate(CAS or Shibboleth) On Fri, May 4, 2012 at 7:39 AM, eras mus <erasmu@...> wrote: > dear all, > i have a plone site with Ldap authentication. within the site using > iframe i have brought hosted squirrel mail application(this also uses > LDAP for authentication). how to pass credential from plone site to > the mail site so that i have to log on into plone site alone. > > regards, > erasmu > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Live Security Virtual Conference > Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and > threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
