If it's hosted on the same domain or a sub domain and the application
supports auth tkt authentication, you should be able to share your
auth tkt secret and make the cookie valid on *.youdomain.com

The configuration for this is somewhere in acl_users--don't remember
off the top of my head though.

Other than that, there is no easy way to do what you're asking unless
the mail app and plone both have support for other types of
authentication you could integrate(CAS or Shibboleth)
