installation steps for dummies?

OS:win XP home SP2
VC++ 6.0
wtl7.0
installed platform sdk 2003 sp1

included all of the inculde cabinets of sdk and wtl
but still i cannot run anything(errors about atldlg.h and atlframe.h). 
What should I do? Can you tell me exactly? I'll give my directories 
below and do whatever will be told me:

VS6.0: C:\program files\visual studio\
wtl: c:\wtl70
sdk: d:\sdk
