That's what I thought concerning the "hell on steel tools" and thanks =
for
the reminder about the silica.  We're back to the best idea being always
wear a mask and also get the dust away before taking off the mask.  I
believe Eugenia mainly uses it as a sand ingredient to make a kind of
plaster but the sand dust, of course, is not safe to breath.
