But the web interface with frames and threads > does not show it. OK, good. Hopefully that has narrowed down the issue far enough for the admins to easily figure things out, now. =:^) FWIW, I don't follow the web side close enough to be sure which interfaces are affected, but there's at least one that has an indexer that falls behind at times. It may be that's what's happening. Or not. But the problem's narrowed down enough that the admins should more easily be able to figure things out anyway, and they can take it from there and probably will eventually reply with what's going on. For me, tho, the important bit is that the permalink header URL works, as it's easy to use and thus the one I end up posting if I need to reference a message from elsewhere. Of course I normally check them before I post, to be sure there's no issues, but that's normally the extent to which I use the web interface (except when I'm following a link from elsewhere, myself), so it's what I tend to be most personally concerned about when I see problems with the web interface reported. Maybe that's a bit selfish, but it is what it is. =:^/ -- -- Duncan - List replies preferred. No HTML msgs.
