Gwene comments

I've been thinking a bit more about the Gwene comment thing. And I
think it might be a fun little project that'll probably have almost no
users.

So here's how it would work: Gwene would have a web interface listing
all the RSS feed articles. It would include no (or almost no) text from
the articles, but just link back to the articles in the feeds. Like
Hacker News. And then you can comment on stuff. Like, er, Hacker News.

Posting would be like on Gmane -- requiring people to verify via email.
But with a twist! If you don't verify your existence, your message
would be posted anyway. But not shown on the web interface by default.
You could hit a button like "show spammers" to see all the comments.

How to model this using a news server remains to be ... thought out.
Perhaps two different storages or something...

The nice thing about this would be that even more bloggers could switch
off commenting on their blogs, and just say "go to Gwene if you want to
comment". :-)
