Category: keyboard / mouse Group: normal bug Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Wanda B Anon (anonwb) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: jumping down window uses all cpu Initial Comment: jEdit 4.3 pre 8 using Java 1.5.0_09 on Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (build 2600) When I open certain perl.pm files, and scroll down by full screens using my mouse clicking into the right hand scroll bar, on the 3 click the javaw.exe takes all available CPU time, jEdit no longer responds to input, nor refreshes its screen when blanked out by another window being moved over it. I can do other work slowly. I would be happy to supply debugging info, for example if someone points me to info about getting a thread dump. I do not know diddly about java.
