Then the math fonts aren't correctly installed. Differently to LyX 1.4.3 the math fonts are in LyX
1.3.x directly installed to Windows' fonts folder. To fix this, tke the files from LyX 1.4.3's fonts
folder and install, !not copy!, them to Windows' fonts folder. Tehn restart LyX 1.3.6.

Btw. When you really need to use LyX 1.3.x I recommend to update to LyX 1.3.7 because that fixes
many Win specific issues and the math fonts should then also work again:
