Hi James, Just to clarify. My proposal was to have an insert template action that will show templates without filtering on already entered prefix - as this filtering makes the templates not to appear when you use CTRL+Space once you already have something typed in after a space. So basically that action will be equivalent in terms of functionality with Press space CTRL+Space ... here you can insert a template or not ... Remove the space added in step one I will add also your idea with defining shortcuts for templates to the Jira entry.
