Each independent document type supported in Serna sets its own base font information early in the XSLT stylesheet reading order for that DTD/Schema. You could parameterize the value actually passed to that declaration using the XSLT Parameter Sets control mechanism. Insofar as the stylesheets are designed to inherit that base font everywhere (or adjust its size relatively), the overall effect of increasing that size should apply universally within the same page size. I think that is what you want. But let me speculate further that it might be nice to actually set a SERNA_BASE_FONT_SIZE universal value in the sdt file that would be used as the initial override value of that base font declaration in all stylesheets conforming to that document type (or family of schemas, such as all options in DITA 1.1). Then the font size could be selectable from Serna's Tools > Preferences dialog, which is where I would prefer to change my personal base font size for all documents that I am working on. This approach avoids having to retool the stylesheets just to set up a personal base font preference as an XSLT Parameter Set option. Does this implementation suggestion work for you, before we suggest it for Serna's developers? I find it just a bit small for these fading eyes. Zooming the view is no good because then you have to keep scrolling sideways. The View > XSLT Parameters does not seem to list any font-size parameters. Anybody got any ideas is this another one for the enhancements list?
