Re: Newbie RDP Report Designer questions

Shift+Left_Mouse_Click+Drag = Marquee

Left_Mouse_Click+Drag = Move around

Ctrl+Left_Mouse_Click+Drag = Duplicate item(s)

Ctrl+Left_Mouse_Click = Individual select

Many things you used to do in Code Designer like multi-item attribute
changes like color or delete are not allowed. RDP Designer is just a
one field at a time except for Moving / Duplicating.

There are times when you are attempting to move items around and it
looks like the entire screen is being moved. I have not absolutely
determined why / when it happens (or even why its needed). To prevent
it from happening I end up re-selecting the item(s) I want to move.

Thanks, Matt

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Newbie RDP Report Designer questions

I just started using Report Designer in 8.0.3. Liking it so far, but I
have a couple of things I cannot figure out.
1. How can I highlight several fields? CODE/Designer allowed me to
click and drag with the mouse, but that does not work in Report
Designer.
2. Once I have them highlighted, how do I move them? In CODE/Designer,
it was CTRL plus the arrow keys, but that does not work.

Thanks
