Label printers Zebra 2844-Z

Is anyone using any of the Zebra Thermal transfer printers (specifically the
2844-Z) for their spine labels?  If so, could you tell me how they are
working out?  Also, how easy is it to change out the ribbons on these
printers?  (We have a different thermal transfer printer that we just loathe
changing the ink ribbon on).
