Authority heading for Don Meyer

I am trying to link the heading for Don Meyer in the book I am cataloging.
Now, it is on an undifferentiated heading with one other person.  The two
names listed look like they could easily have their own records. The Don
Meyer who writes sports books even has a birth date.
Is there a way to get these two people individual authority records?
