"True crime" books
Does anyone know of guidance on how to class true crime books? (I found nothing in AACR2, the RIs, or the Subject heading manual.) I'm picturing a sliding scale of totally factual accounts being classed with crime in HV, and as they become more fictionalized, sliding into literature in the P's. But how you judge this? I have a question about this from another librarian, and I'm not sure how to respond. Thanks! Dennis Dennis Giszczak Cataloger-Librarian Thomas M.
